Chelsea goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen leaves pre-season tour to complete Strasbourg move

Chelsea are set to sanction another departure before the transfer window closes, with goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen on the verge of joining Strasbourg. The 24-year-old has left the club's pre-season tour of Australia in order to undergo a medical ahead of completing the move to the Ligue 1 side.
Strasbourg, like Chelsea, are owned by BlueCo, making the transfer an internal move within the multi-club group.
Jorgensen joined Chelsea in 2024 in a deal worth €24.5m, but after just one season at Stamford Bridge he is now preparing for the next chapter of his career in France.
The transfer is expected to be completed once the goalkeeper successfully passes his medical examinations.
