Camavinga determined to stay at Real Madrid despite interest from Manchester City and Manchester United

Eduardo Camavinga is determined to fight for his future at Real Madrid. After being left out of Didier Deschamps' France squad for the 2026 World Cup and enduring an injury-hit campaign at the Santiago Bernabéu, the midfielder is eager to re-establish himself.

According to Marca, Real Madrid would be willing to listen to offers for the France international, whose contract runs until 2029, following a disappointing season affected by injuries and inconsistent performances.

The Spanish giants are understood to value Camavinga at around €50m, but the 23-year-old has no desire to leave Madrid.

After a short holiday, during which he also attended a four-day programme at Harvard Business School's Entertainment, Media and Sports programme, Camavinga has returned to pre-season training determined to prove his worth. His goal is to convince José Mourinho that he still has an important role to play at the club.

The Portuguese coach wants to assess the midfielder during pre-season before making a final decision on his future. Mourinho has not requested the signing of another midfielder, although he is not believed to view the former Rennes player as a natural fit for his preferred system.

Camavinga will nevertheless be given the opportunity to impress, starting with the upcoming friendly against Alcorcón.

In the meantime, the Frenchman has already made his intentions clear. According to the Spanish newspaper, he has no interest in leaving Real Madrid and has turned down every approach made through his representatives.

Among the clubs credited with an interest are Manchester City and Manchester United, both of whom are understood to have received a firm rejection. Chelsea, who have also been linked with the midfielder, are likely to receive the same response.

Camavinga's position is unequivocal: he wants to remain at Real Madrid and fight for his place. Only if Mourinho were to tell him he has no future at the club would the midfielder consider a move elsewhere.
