LIGA - Alexander Isak: one day it would be nice to play in England as well
Isak signed Real Sociedad from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2019. He has made 101 appearances and scored 38 goals since then. This summer, he extended his Real Sociedad contract through 2026, including a €90 million release clause.
According to AS, Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in signing the 22-year-old striker.
Alexander Isak has expressed an interest in playing in the Premier League in the future.
“I’m in a good place at the moment, I’m very happy, but one day it would be nice to play in England as well. They have six or seven of the biggest clubs in the world. It’s a very high level and of course one day it would be an alternative. Every player wants to be the best version of themselves and reach the highest level possible,” he told The Independent.
“People will always count goals, I want to score, but I want to be a modern striker. I love playing football and that means being involved as much as possible. I think that’s why Spain has suited me very well,” he continued.
