Ronald Koeman got zero on the bill. The FC Barcelona coach asked for reinforcements, but they will not come. Unless Martin Braithwaite leaves in the next few weeks. Barcelona hopes to be able to enter the transfer market again in the winter transfer period.

That is the painful message that Koeman has received, reports Diario Sport. Koeman insisted on the arrival of an attacker and a midfielder. However, Barca's response was clear: the Catalans are not supposed to make any purchases this summer. Only when Braithwaite is sold for a good price is Barcelona looking for an attacker.

If Barcelona's dramatic financial situation improves in the coming months, the club hopes to be able to do business in the transfer market in January. After the departure of Lionel Messi and the injury of Sergio Aguero, Koeman hoped for a new attacker. The wish for a midfielder has been around for a while. At the beginning of this summer, Georginio Wijnaldum seemed to be coming to Camp Nou. However, he chose Paris Saint-Germain. Koeman also agreed with another midfielder from a lower category than Wijnaldum, but that wish is not fulfilled either.

Barcelona is currently focusing on getting Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia eligible to play. The two reinforcements are not yet registered for La Liga.
