LIGA - FC Barcelona: the supporters want Xavi on the bench
Ronald Koeman could pay the price for FC Barcelona's failed start to the season. The Dutchman's future seems to be written more than ever far from the Catalan club, Blaugrana leaders are considering this option and would already have four names in mind.
Sport asked the opinion of supporters, through a poll in which 24,000 people participated. Xavi, former player and captain of Barça, emerged the big winner, with 53% of the votes in his favor.
In second position we find Roberto Martinez, coach of Belgium, with 24%, even if the latter had denied any interest from FC Barcelona. Finally Andrea Pirlo, who would be Joan Laporta's priority, only won 5% of the vote, especially because of his lack of experience. Finally, 18% of the participants voted in favor of Marcelo Gallardo. It remains to be seen what will happen in the near future, even if to part ways with Koeman, Barça will have to pay € 12m.
