LIGA - Report: Laporta consult Guardiola on next Barcelona coach
Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has urged Barcelona to select a Dutch coach if they are to fire Ronald Koeman.
Koeman's career at Barcelona is in jeopardy following their home thrashing by Champions League opponents Bayern Munich and his vocal criticism of president Joan Laporta.
It's been speculated that Koeman only has three LaLiga games left to preserve his job.
Meanwhile, El Nacional reports that Laporta has sought counsel from Guardiola, who has recommended Ajax coach Erik ten Hag as a substitute.
At the end of last season, Guardiola pushed Laporta to remain with Koeman.
Currently Barcelona sits in the 10th position on the league table after playing three games, winning 2, and drawing one. The Barcelona squad has also been inflicted with injuries this season and they've lost most of their key players.
