LIGUE 1 - Leonardo on Pochettino: ''He's never asked to leave''
Mauricio Pochettino has "never wanted to leave" Paris Saint-Germain, according to the French club's sporting director Leonardo, despite reports linking the coach to Manchester United.
He also refuted rumours that PSG had sought former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane, stating he had "no contact" with the Frenchman.
According to speculations in the British press earlier this week, Pochettino, the former Tottenham manager, may be persuaded to leave Paris and join Man United in the middle of the season.
"I think it's important to clarify the situation given the amount of false information circulating. Mauricio Pochettino is under contract with the club until 2023," Leonardo told AFP.
"We don't want Pochettino to leave. He's never asked to leave and no club have contacted us in relation to him."
