The first match of the knockout stage of the Euro 2020 was expected to be tight but the team play by Denmark demolished Wales with a 4-0 thanks to a brace by Kasper Dolberg, that played in Johan Cruyjff Arena with Ajax when younger, score a goal in each half that started the result. First goal from outside the box in the bottom corner, the second from a mistake from Williams before the third goal from Maehle and the last from Braithwaite in the last minute of the game.

Despite the expect quality from Allen, Ramsey, James and Bale from Wales, that was not enough against the Danish team that showed a great character during the tournament so far and got the spot in the quarterfinals to face the winner of the clash between Netherlands and Czech Republic. It's important to take a look to Simon Kjaer that left the pitch with a injury that need to be evaluated until the next battle but the happiness is guaranteed for the Denmark supporters until the next round.
