After being tracked down, one of Bukayo Saka's racial assailants has apologized to the Arsenal player.

Journalists researching social media profiles that had not been taken down despite being reported for racially assaulting Saka and other England stars found the individual in Saudi Arabia.

90 minutes and extra time, the England national team and the Italian national team could not be separated in the EURO 2020 final, and the game had to be decided on penalties.

Saka needed to convert his spot-kick to keep England in the shootout after misses from Sancho and Rashford, but he failed, handing the trophy to the Italians.

He and the other players who missed their spot-kick were attacked on social media accounts from both inside and outside the nation.

According to The Guardian, the anonymous individual said:

“It was a big mistake, I was angry, and I didn’t know what, if he saw the monkeys, what he would feel,”

“I really want to apologise to Saka, it was a mistake and I will not do it again for him and any black player.”
