Georginio Wijnaldum showed his face again on the Orange training field on Thursday. The midfielder was still missing from the selection of national coach Louis van Gaal on Wednesday. Nevertheless, the veteran just seems fit for the meeting with Montenegro.

Wijnaldum was missing on Wednesday because he was ill, but according to De Telegraaf and Algemeen Dagblad, among others, he was back on Thursday. That is good news for Van Gaal, who can therefore work towards the game against Montenegro with a fully fit selection. Arnaut Danjuma is also fully training with Orange.

At Orange, Wijnaldum hopes to play a lesser period at Paris Saint-Germain. The right leg, who is celebrating his 31st birthday today, is anything but certain of a base place in Paris. He recently scored his first two goals for the Parisians in the Champions League. PSG drew 2-2 against RB Leizpig that match.

Van Gaal's men close the World Cup qualifiers this international period with two games. Saturday evening the Orange will visit Montengro. Tuesday evening (8.45 pm) the last group match against Norway awaits in Rotterdam. Orange is the leader of group G with nineteen points, while the Norwegians are second with seventeen points.
