Cristiano Ronaldo is one step closer to joining Manchester City from Juventus. His intentions to win the Premier League once more will be slammed by Manchester United because of disloyalty.

The time has come for the 36-year-old to move from Turin after the departure of Massimiliano Allegri. Juventus also seems to want to get rid of him because the high salary stands around €31 million a year.

Furthermore, CR7 also cannot give what Bianconeri dreamed of the Champions League in the last three seasons. Thus, failure just made Ronaldo feel offended. According to L'Equipe, he wanted to move to the City.

Another report says the striker is going to get a two years contract and salary worth €14 million a season. However, his wish to return to the Premier League will make Manchester United feel betrayed.

Amid the speculation, many United fans feel disappointed if it really happens. The Red Devils manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also slammed the act of disloyalty when the club linked with Sergio Aguero from Manchester City.

"When I played for Man Utd, if a rival club tried to sign me, and I had gone, well where's the loyalty? Loyalty is one of the values I really, really put highly," Solskjaer said.

"I wouldn't expect any player who has played for a club for 10 years to want to go to their local rivals. It's not for me. I know we're professionals, but when you play Man Utd you don't go to Man City."

"We've had examples of that and I didn't really agree with it. I won't name names, but all know who I mean. Enough said."

Cristiano Ronaldo was well known as another Manchester United best player in the hands of Sir Alex Ferguson. If he really decides to sign for Manchester City, the Portuguese will be labeled a traitor in the Premier League.
