PREMIER - Man. United boss Solskjaer praises De Gea CL performance
After having won the "revenge match" against Villarreal, as a follow-up to latest Europa League final game, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer unveiled his feelings about Red Devils major goalkeeper David De Gea's performance:
"Thankfully, we had the best goalkeeper in the world tonight."David was fantastic and I was very happy with his performance. You are probably right that he had a difficult summer. After that, he went to the Euros, and didn’t play there, but he has come back with determination and a belief and, today, he got his deserved outcome.
David saved us tonight, to be realistic. Without David, we have got good keepers in Tom [Heaton] and Dean [Henderson], but this tie David deserves Man of the Match title, if you ask me”.
