PREMIER - West Ham, a contender turning up over Lingard's return
Wooed by West Ham, over a move back into London side ranks, 28-year old English attacking midfielder and winger Jesse Lingard, likely to part ways soon from Manchester United again, is growing into a major winter target for Newcastle, according to Daily Mirror. Only on a deal with Red Devils, his home club, until June 2022, former Brighton and Leicester City playmaker is meant for a move out indeed, and United might go for a sale, in order not to lose him on a free-of-charge one.
Playing for Hammers during 2020/21 second half-season, Lingard managed to display again some of the skills which had brought into English senior national team ranks, before being stuck between injuries and poor performing. Besides, the player was previously inquired about by AS Roma, as well as by Foxes themselves.
