Liverpool's 25-match unbeaten record was snapped in a 3-2 defeat at the London Stadium on Sunday, thanks to three costly errors from goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

If Jurgen Klopp's team avoided loss in east London, they would have broken the club's all-time unbeaten streak, which had stood since 1982.

Instead, Alisson's dreadful performance consigned Liverpool to their first defeat since Real Madrid defeated them in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final in April.

Since Fulham's win at Anfield in March, Liverpool had not lost in the league.

Alisson had a bad day after scoring an own goal to put West Ham ahead in the first half.

Trent Alexander-Arnold drew the Hammers level with a superb free-kick, but Alisson was once again at fault as Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma scored after the break.

Liverpool got one back through Divock Origi, but it wasn't enough to keep their unbeaten record alive.

Liverpool fell to fourth position in the Premier League, with West Ham leapfrogging them to third.
