SERIE A - Juventus goalie Szczesny: "We eventually had the right spirit"

In the wake of Juventus almost unexpected victory over Chelsea, 31-year old Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny stated:

"In the early stages of the game we suffered, but we didn't concede any chances to Chelsea, which are one of the strongest teams in Europe. This is a victory of spirit, of character, we had the pleasure of defending, leaving possession but controlling the situations well and we showed the spirit that had not been seen at the beginning of the season".

After a very troubled season start, former AS Roma and Arsenal stopper is managing to climb back up to his previous standards, gaining the trust he had been endorsed with in return.
