SERIE A - Udinese about to fetch Nehuen Perez from Atletico Madrid

Back from Tokyo Olympics, 21-year old Argentinian centre-back Nehuén Perez is about to join Udinese, and start his career-first Serie A tenure. Purchased by Atletico Madrid three years ago, from Argentinos Juniors, on a 2 million euros transfer fee, the 2000-born backliner, not equipped with a dual EU citizenship, is still on a parent-club deal with Colchoneros until June 2024.

Playing for Granada during last season, former Famalicão player wore the Argentina Under-23 national team jersey 14 times, scoring one goal therein, besides having represented his country both at Under-17 level and Under-20 one as well. Throughout his course as a pro club player, Perez has so far capped 45 times, scoring one goal therein as well.
