Saint Etienne signs Juan Ignacio Ramirez on loan

As announced a few minutes ago, AS Saint-Etienne welcomes Uruguayan striker Juan Ignacio Ramirez in the form of a loan, from Liverpool Montevideo.

On Tuesday evening, AS Saint-Étienne and Liverpool FC Montevideo reached an agreement concerning the loan of Ignacio Ramirez (24). The prolific Uruguayan Ligue 1 scorer will therefore wear the Green jersey during this 2021-2022 season.

Born in Mercedes (Uruguay), Ignacio Ramirez was spotted at the age of 12 by Liverpool FC, the professional club from Montevideo. Under the colors of the capital club, the young striker shows a fierce appetite for the goal and a remarkable success. Scoring 130 goals during his training, he became the top scorer in the youth categories in the history of the Negriazules.
