LIGA - Again no victory! Valencia loses ground in the La Liga

Valencia CF is out of step in La Liga. As in the previous three rounds, the "bats" cannot win on matchday eight. At Cadiz FC, Valencia will have to be content with a goalless draw.

Despite extensive play - Valencia fires 16 shots on goal over 90 minutes and has a ball possession rate of around 68 percent - the guests do not want to score a goal. The Cadiz defensive is too clever and tight-knit from start to finish. The most promising chances for Valencia are thwarted by Cadiz keeper Ledesma with strong saves against Waas (49th, 51st) and Duro (82nd).

So Valencia travels back home with a meager point. In the table, Jose Bordalas' eleven are ninth with twelve points and thus missed the leap into the top 5. Cadiz ranks 14th with seven points.

Already in the afternoon CA Osasuna celebrated 1-0 successes against Rayo Vallecano and RCD Mallorca over UD Levante.
