LIGA - Anceloti on his sides performance: "We started well"

Karim Benzema was instrumental in Real Madrid's victory over Shakhtar Donetsk, scoring the club's 1,000th goal in the Champions League/European Cup.

Benzema added a second goal of the game to give Madrid all three points and put them atop Group D.

Manager Anceloti commented on the squad's performance in the game, saying that his team started energetically in the first 15 minutes of both halves and that helped them to win.

@MrAncelotti: "We started well, aggresive in the first 15 min of both halves. After we scored the 1st goal, we needed to wait, as we did, but with more aggressiveness.
