LIGA - Barca have no clause to extend Depay contract

Barcelona will have to negotiate for a new contract with Memphis Depay if they want him to stay for more than two years.

It had been reported that the Catalan side had included a clause in his contract that would allow them to extend his stay until 2024.

But Mundo Deportivo says that although they discussed the option with the Netherlands star's agent, they neglected to include it in the contract he signed, meaning he could leave for free in 2023.
