LIGA - Umtiti responds to fan about Barcelona transfer attempts

Despite fan criticism, Samuel Umtiti is not taking his Barcelona transfer rumor too seriously. The centre-back has been plagued by injuries in recent years, and although regaining full health this summer, he is one of the players set to be moved as the Blaugrana seek to lower their wage bill.

Umtiti has been uncooperative with Barca's attempts, unwilling to move until he is joining a championship contender.

The centre-back is content with Barcelona, as well as with the hefty deal he signed a few years ago.

However, other supporters believe he is making a mistake by refusing to go, and that Umtiti should do the right thing by the team by accepting a move.

That isn't to suggest that all supporters feel the same way, as one fan stated on Friday, as published by Mundo Deportivo.

It’s reported that while Umtiti was leaving Barcelona training, one fan shouted: ”You don’t deserve what Barcelona are doing to you.”

And Umtiti is said to have responded to that comment by saying: “Don’t worry, it’s life.”
