NATIONS - Arsenal's Partey and Ajax Kudus pivots Ghana to a win

In a thrilling matchday three clash of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, newly hired coach Milovan Rajevac saw Ghana back to winning ways, defeating Zimbabwe's Warriors 3-1 at the Cape Coast Stadium.
According to espldaily.com, the Zimbabweans started off on a high note, sitting back to watch the Black Stars, but settled in nicely for some end-to-end action later in the game.
Ghana took the lead in the fifth minute when goalkeeper Washington Arubi failed to deal effectively with Kudus Mohammed's weak long-range effort.
The Warriors came out fire in the second half after returning from the break, with their unrelenting attack earning them a penalty three minutes after the break, with Alexander Djiku identified as the culprit.
In the 49th minute, Zimbabwe's captain, Knowledge Musona, stepped up and scored from the penalty spot to tie the game.
Ghana seized the lead for the second time in the 66th minute, thanks to Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, who outmuscled two opponents before slamming a low shot past goalkeeper Arubi.
Finally, captain Andre Ayew clinched the win for Ghana by rising high above a swarm of opponents and slamming a powerful header into the net, giving Ghana a two-goal lead for the first time in the game.
Ghana won 3-1, putting them in first place in Group G with six points after three games.
