Sassuolo completes double deal for Henrique and Tressoldi
In a statement released by the club just a few minutes ago, Sassuolo announced they have signed Brazilians Matheus Henrique and Ruan Tressoldi from Gremio.
"U.S. Sassuolo Calcio announces they have completed the following transfer market operations:
- De Souza Matheus Henrique (born in 1997, midfielder): acquired on a one-year loan agreement with an obligation to buy from Gremio FBPA.
-Tressoldi Netto Ruan (born in 1999, defender): acquired on a permanent basis from Gremio FBPA. The player will remain on loan with gremio until 31/12/2021.".
Both are promising young players that are products of Gremio's youth sector. Now they will be challenged with a new reality of European football for the first time, but Sassuolo has shown in the past they have an eye for undiscovered talent, so it is an ideal environment for the pair to grow.
