From France: No Juventus move for Zhegrova as Marseille strike deal with De Zerbi

Edon Zhegrova’s future will not be in Italy, despite long-standing interest from Juventus – and neither will he remain at Lille. According to French outlet Foot Mercato, the 26-year-old Kosovo winger has reached an agreement to join Roberto De Zerbi’s Olympique de Marseille.

Zhegrova is understood to have agreed a deal running until 2030 with the French club, who are now ironing out the final details with Lille before making the move official.

For Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, it marks the end of a pursuit for one of his main targets to strengthen the flanks. The collapse of the Zhegrova option could also open the door for Nico González to stay on at Continassa.
