SERIE A - Napoli agrees to terms with new manager

According to Sky Sport Italy, former AS Roma and Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti is set to become the new Napoli manager.
Spalletti, 62, reached an agreement with Napoli on a 2-year deal and will replace Gennaro Gattuso, whose contract expired and is now the manager of Fiorentina.
Spalletti last coached during the 2018/19 season, when he was in charge of Inter Milan finishing fourth in the Serie A table. He finished top-4 in each of his last 8 coaching seasons, with two Russian Premier Liga titles with Zenit, a second and a third place with AS Roma and two fourth places with Inter.
Napoli is looking to earn a Champions League spot next season, and team president and owner Aurelio De Laurentiis might have found the right man for the job, after the team failed to qualify to the top European competition this season after a fatal 1-1 draw at home against Hellas Verona in the last game of the season.
