LIGA - Barcelona FC, Ansu Fati wants to stay this season

Ansu Fati apparently sees his future at FC Barcelona. "I want to stay and try to be successful here", quoted the 'Mundo Deportivo' the Spanish offensive player. With the 18-year-old's contract expiring in 2022, the Catalans are under pressure to find a timely solution.

The contract of the four-time national player includes a club-side extension option for two years. Most recently, Spanish media reported that Fati's adviser Jorge Mendes saw the clause as invalid and wanted to take legal action against it.

According to the report, however, Barca wants to refrain from using the passage. Instead, they want to find an amicable solution with the top talent.
