NATIONS - Draxler exit Germany squad due to muscle injury

With a muscle issue, Germany manager Hansi Flick has confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler has withdrawn from the national squad, with the 28-year-old now returning to Paris.
For the first time in a year, Draxler was called up to the national team ahead of World Cup qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Armenia.
According to RMC Sport, the former Schalke 04 and Wolfsburg midfielder could be sidelined for several weeks as a result of the injury. This season, the German has played 598 minutes for Mauricio Pochettino's side in all competitions.
