SERIE A - Inter Milan resident veteran Perisic on renewal outlook
Arisen back as a powerhouse for the club, after Inter Milan tried to offload him for two summer market sessions in a row, following his 2019/20 Bayern Munich loan spell (ended up in a Champions League win, though not as a key man for the team), 32-year old Croatian international winger Ivan Perisic might soon be offered a deal extension by Serie A defending champions, out of his thorough performing under Neroazzurri current boss, Simone Inzaghi.
Deployable also as a wide midfielder, an attacking one, and a second striker, former Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg player, who wouldn't however shy away from landing back onto Bundesliga realms, as well as a career-first Premier League experience, is playing for Neroazzurri since 2015/16, except for the aforementioned season spent away, and is currently on a deal with Italian giants until June 2022. A World Cup 2018 runner-up, he has so far capped 109 times for Croatia, scoring 31 goals therein.
