European heavyweights circle De Ketelaere as PSG join Bayern and Premier League clubs in race

Charles De Ketelaere was one of Serie A’s standout performers at the 2026 World Cup, which ended on Sunday night with Spain beating Argentina in New York. After failing to score in the group stage or the round of 32, CDK came alive in the knockout phase, scoring three goals: a brace against hosts United States in the last 16 and another in the quarter-final defeat to Spain, decided at the death.

Bayern, Premier League and PSG interest
Given that level of performance, it is no surprise De Ketelaere has attracted attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs. According to today’s edition of Corriere di Bergamo, Bayern Munich have been tracking the Belgian forward for some time and have already made an initial enquiry.

Premier League clubs are also watching closely, with an auction potentially taking shape, while Paris Saint-Germain have now entered the picture. PSG see De Ketelaere as an alternative to Maghnes Akliouche, with Luis Enrique intrigued by the idea of using him on the right wing, as a Belgium-style attacking midfielder or even as a false nine.

The PSG coach views him as a kind of Swiss army knife.
