Juventus facing defensive overhaul? Galatasaray tempt Bremer as five players could leave

Galatasaray have launched a serious move to sign Juventus defender Gleison Bremer. The Brazilian remains one of the senior players most at risk of leaving Luciano Spalletti’s squad, with the Turkish club offering him a deal worth €8m net per season.

Turkish temptation for Bremer
Bremer is considering the offer, although he had previously been waiting for approaches from the Premier League or, in particular, Bayern Munich. Juventus do not regard him as untouchable, not least because of the €58m release clause valid until 10 August. An offer of around €50m would force the club to give the matter serious consideration, given the significant capital gain it would generate compared with the remaining book value of his transfer fee.

Defensive overhaul
It is not only Bremer. The whole Juventus defence could undergo major changes this summer. After Tarik Muharemovic’s move from Sassuolo to Leeds United, which earned Juventus €20m, several other players could also leave. Juan Cabal is being tracked by Beşiktaş, Federico Gatti has been linked with Napoli and clubs in England, Daniele Rugani is of interest to Bologna and Monza, while João Mário is being watched by Fiorentina.
