TOP STORIES - FIFA 22 ratings: Messi claims top spot again
In EA Sports' latest version of FIFA 22, the new Paris Saint-Germain superstar topped the list for the third year in a row as the highest-rated player. Messi maintained his 93 ratings from the previous season, which helped him win the title.
The top five players are Robert Lewandowski, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne, and Kylian Mbappe.
In total, 11 players are rated 90 or higher in the massively popular video game, including Neymar, Harry Kane, and Manuel Neuer.
Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund surged up the standings, climbing 71 spots to 29th position with an 88 rating. With an 80 rating, he was rated 100th last semester. Meanwhile, despite finishing outside the top 100 last season, Ruben Dias and Leon Goretzka are featured significantly this year.
On the other hand, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was ranked 31st last year, has dropped to 95th place. Eden Hazard and Antoine Griezmann both fell from favor at the same time.
