EVERTON still pondering over Pau LOPEZ as next goalie

Coming from two mostly underwhelming seasonal performances he provided AS Roma, 26-year old Spanish goalkeeper Pau Lopez is meant to leave Italian club, once current season's over. To this end, Everton management are allegedly pondering over a move at former Real Betis Sevilla and Tottenham stopper, who's still on a deal with Giallorossi until June 2024.
Purchased by Rome-based club, back in summer 2019, on a 23.5 million euros transfer fee, Espanyol alumni is at the time roughly worth half the sum. On his hand, Lopez would be more than happy to hit Premier League back, join Toffees, and work under such a football master as Carlo Ancelotti is. Chances José Mourinho is going to give him a further chance, and trying him out as a regular, are at the time very slim. Ongoing parent club-wise, Pau Lopez is therefore walking on thin ice.
