19.50 CEST - Danny Ings is moving from Southampton FC to league competitor Aston Villa with immediate effect. The 29-year-old center forward signs a three-year contract with his new club. Both clubs do not provide any information about the transfer fee.

According to reports from England, the equivalent of 35 million euros will flow.

Last season Ings scored twelve goals in 29 league games for the Saints, who are coached by former Bundesliga coach Ralph Hasenhüttl. The Englishman has already played a total of 140 Premier League games. He went on the hunt for goals for Burnley FC, Liverpool FC, and Southampton.

14.33 CEST - Ten goals in eighteen appearances at Bursaspor last year, at just 18, Ali Akman is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in Turkish football. Purchased on a free transfer last February from Eintracht Frankfurt, the 2002-class center forward goes on loan to NEC Nijmegen for a further step of growth in the Eredivisie.

12.50 CEST - Reinforcement for Schalke 04, who fell this year in the 2.Bundesliga. Rodrigo Zalazar, 21-year-old midfielder, joins Knappen on loan from Eintracht Frankfurt. Last season the Uruguayan played on loan at St. Pauli, scoring 6 goals in 34 games.

Turning 24 on August 9, former German club powerhouse, on his first Premier League tenure ever, agreed on a 4-year deal with Birmingham-based club.

9.08 CEST - Serie A side Torino announced having signed Belgian U19 international striker Thibo Baeten, joining in from Dutch club NEC Nijmegen, including an option to buy.

The 2002-born hitman, who turned 19 on June 7, has so far scored seven goals in official pro games, across 25 caps overall.

8.34 CEST - Girondins de Bordeaux announced having signed 23-year old Ghanaian international left-back Gideon Mensah, on a season-long loan spell, including an option to buy for French club.

Former Vitoria Guimaraes and Zulte Waregem player is still on a parent-club deal with Red Bull Salzburg until May 2024.

With an official statement on their social pages, Penarol announced the purchase of left-back Juan Ramos from Spezia.

Uruguayan class of '96, Ramos had arrived at Spezia in 2019 from Parma and during last season he had put together six appearances in Serie A. The left-back signed a two-year deal, as announced by the Uruguayan club.
