Sky sports today reported both Manchester united and Juventus are interested in hiring the Portuguese Luis Campos to be their new sporting director.

Campos gained a reputation for making money in the transfer market earning himself the nickname 'Wizard of Capital Gains'. He masterminded Killian Mbappe's move to PSG earning Monaco 193M Euro and later Thomas Lemar's move to Atletico Madrid for 84M Euro.

Campos took over at Monaco in 2013 and in 4 year had built the team that brought the Ligue 1 title to Monaco for the first time in 17 years and in the process generated over 500M in profit for the club.

Campos was responsible for the sale of Nicolas Pepe to Arsenal last summer which earned Lille much needed cash as they push for their first Ligue 1 title. Campos has shown his ability to not only make a lucrative sale but to still maintain a highly competitive squad, a much sought after skill.

The in demand Sporting director has been out of contract since Christmas and is free to negotiate with a prospective club. Juventus have yet to renew the contract of sporting director Fabio Paratici which lapsed last week.
