OFFICIAL - Besiktas buys Valentin Rosier premanently
Besiktas is converting Valentin Rosier's loan into a permanent commitment. As the Istanbul club announced, the purchase option of 4.8 million euros was drawn for the 25-year-old French from Sporting Lisbon.
The right-back has been on loan for the Adler since October 2020. Since then, Rosier has played 43 competitive games and contributed three goals and eight assists to Besiktas ‘championship title of the past season.
Rosier began his senior career with Rodez AF in the fourth tier in 2015, moving to Dijon FCO of Ligue 1 a year later, on a three-season contract.
On 2 October 2020, Rosier joined Besiktas on loan for the 2020–21 season.
Rosier earned seven caps for France at under-21 level, all in 2018. On his debut on 23 March, the side won 3–0 away to Kazakhstan in a European qualifier.
