OFFICIAL - Club America part ways with midfielder Medina
In a tweet that appeared on the club's official account, Club America announced the departure of midfielder Alan Medina.
The 23-year-old midfielder wasn't able to find a spot in Santiago Solari's starting 11 with regularity, something that convinced the Mexico City club to loan him out to Necaxa with an option to buy. The promising Medina had arrived in Mexico City just a year ago, but evidently will need more playing time before he is ready to play for one of Mexico's biggest clubs, and he hopes to find that with Necaxa.
Medina is Necaxa's sixth acquisition of this transfer window, joining Mauro Quiroga, Luis Quintana, Rubén González, Jonathan González and Uruguayan Agustín Oliveros.
