Jonah Osabutey joins Kortrijk from Werder Bremen
Jonah Osabutey, a member of SV Werder Bremen's second squad, is relocating to Belgium. KV Kortrijk, a first-division team, has signed the 22-year-old striker.
Jonah had a good season in Mouscron, scoring five goals and providing four assists while being awarded Player of the Season. He's a versatile striker that can fit into a variety of lineups. "It works well in a 4-4-2 but may also be used in other formations," stated Rik Foulon, sports director. "He possesses strong running lines, bounces well, and loses the ball with a lot of strength."
Several teams were interested in renting him again at Werder Bremen in the summer of 2020, but he was unable to do so due to an injury.
He is now at the conclusion of his rehabilitation and can begin to establish a new life.
