In a new report by British outlet The Daily Express, Chelsea are looking for help in the midfield, as the club just loaned Billy Gilmour to Norwich City and Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek's futures hang in the balance. Reportedly, one of the Blues top targets is West Ham United and England Euro 2020 standout Declan Rice.

According to the report, Rice seems eager for a return to Chelsea. Interest by Abramovich's club was rumored last year as well, but the Stamford Bridge side never made an official offer after signing names like Timo Werner and Kai Havertz. Now, a year later and as European Champions, Chelsea are at it again, and a possible negotiation could be made easier by the player's will to come back to Stamford Bridge.

Rice has been with West Ham since 2015, appearing in 131 matches and scoring 5 goals in the process. He's also represented England at the senior level 24 times, with 1 goal. We'll see if the Euro 2020 finalist will join European Champion Jorginho at Chelsea, for what would surely be one of the best midfields in Europe.
