Meant to leave Barcelona FC before the buzzer, barely after an underwhelming season in, 31-year old Bosnian international midfielder Miralem Pjanic, according to Italian source QS-La Nazione, has been targeted by Fiorentina, planning to bring him in as a high-rank hit signing. Handed out by Juventus in summer 2020, in a swap deal having Arthur move on the other way around, former AS Roma and Olympique Lyonnais playmaker is meant to be loaned out, with Blaugrana taking over a significant share of his wage.

Still on a deal with Spanish giants until June 2024, Pjanic, through the years, has been linked to all sorts of A-rate transfers, including most Premier League top clubs (from Arsenal to Manchester United, from Chelsea to Manchester City) and Paris Saint-Germain. Besides, Pjanic, briefly inquired about by Inter Milan, has been heavily linked to a move back into Juventus ranks, out of former boss of his Massimiliano Allegri's will, a scenario which might still happen.

Across his career as a pro club player, Pjanic won eight titles, seven of which for Juventus (including four Serie A titles in four years). Besides, he collected 552 caps in official games, scoring 73 goals therein, none of which for Barça. He also capped 100 times for Bosnia, from 2008 on, scoring 16 goals therein.
