TRANSFERS - A-listers crowding after Chelsea fiasco Werner
Not delivering as expected since the early stages of his Chelsea tenure, which began roughly 15 months ago, 25-year old German international striker Timo Werner might be on his way out sooner than later. To this end, former RB Leipzig and Stuttgart hitman is allegedly tracked by four more European top clubs, notably Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Juventus.
Currently on a deal with Blues until June 2025, Werner, in spite of a very underwhelming seasonal performance as an individual player, managed to achieve a Champions League title last season, even as a final match starter. So far, he capped 59 times in official games for Stamford Bridge side, scoring only thirteen goals therein, going very much below his past scoring rates.
