Fiorentina leap on lead over Lille attacker

After a long negotiation, Fiorentina seem to have taken a hold on 23-year old French-Congolese attacking midfielder Jonathan Ikoné. A key player for Lille to achieve Ligue 1 win last season, former PSG playmaker is now likely to be transferred to Italian club, even halfway through the season, on an about 22 million euros exit fee.
Mostly deployed as a winger these days, Ikoné, previously fending for Montpellier as well, is tracked by RB Leipzig and Sevilla FC as well. Still on a deal with Les Dogues until June 2023, the 1998-born capped four times for French senior national team back in 2019, also scoring one goal.
