Joao Felix on the radar of Liverpool
Liverpool are interested in acquiring Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid in the January transfer window, according to Spanish source Fichajes (h/t Liverpool Echo). The Reds' interest in him might be to bolster their offensive line.
The Portuguese talent, on the other hand, will not be cheap. For his services, the Reds would have to pay about €80 million (£68 million).
However, with Felix's contract set to expire in 2026, the English club may have a difficult task. With Atletico Madrid defending their championship, it's doubtful that Liverpool will be able to sign the 21-year-old.
Liverpool's interest in Felix might be a result of their squad's injury woes last season. If any of their forwards get injured this season, the Merseysiders' title hopes might be jeopardized.
