Liverpool and Man United interested in Varane

According to Ekrem Konur, Liverpool and Manchester United are preparing bids for Real Madrid defender Raphaël Varane. The French International's contract is set to expire next season, and with extension talks still stalling between Real and the player, the two Premier League giants are seeing an opportunity to add a rock solid defensive star to their teams.
Real, on the other hand, would like to keep Varane on board, especially after Sergio Ramos' departure. Team President Florentino Perez started talks with Varane's representatives and is offering a 3-year contract extension.
Varane, 28, joined Los Blancos in 2011 from Lens.
