Liverpool eyes Valencia star Carlos Soler
Liverpool have showed interest in signing Carlos Soler, according to transfer news from Fichajes (h/t ECHO). The Valencia youngster has been in excellent form so far this season, and it has been suggested that Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are the primary parties interested in signing him.
Carlos Soler began his career with Valencia's youth system in 2005. During the 2014-15 season, he rose quickly through the ranks before making his debut with the club's reserve team. He was promoted to the first team a year later and made his La Liga debut in December 2016 against Real Sociedad.
His scorching form does not appear to have gone unnoticed. Soler, a full Spanish international, is reported to be one of the players Liverpool is considering for a midfield upgrade. Klopp is said to be a big supporter of the player. His flexibility is reported to have pleased the German. Liverpool has not said if they would pursue him in January or next season.
