TRANSFERS - Renato Sanches in Barcelona’s sights
Renato Sanches is a target for Barcelona, and unlike a few months ago, Lille are willing to let the Portuguese midfielder depart, according to a Mundo Deportivo report.
The president of the French club, Oliver Letang, recently stated that if a strong offer for Sanches comes in from a big club, he will be permitted to leave, despite the fact that the player is happy at Lille.
Sanches, 24, came through Benfica's development system before being signed by Bayern Munich in the aftermath of Portugal's against-the-odds success at Euro 2016.
However, he was unable to find success in Bavaria and spent an unsatisfactory loan spell with Swansea City in the Premier League. He joined Lille in 2019 and has been a huge success since then.
