Arsenal and Aston Villa remain keen on Genk striker Paul Onuachu, one of the continent’s in-demand players, according to a report from Corriere dello Sport.

He has been sensational for the Belgian club since he broke into the senior team, after signing from MiMidtjyllan. The player’s goalscoring numbers have been brilliant year after year, suggesting his development at the Jupiler Pro League outfit has been top-notch.

Onuachu has netted 39 goals in 45 league appearances thus far, and this term, the Nigerian has 18 goals to show for across all competitions.

Among those interested are the Gunners and the Villa, among other high-profile teams. These two clubs are poised to acquire the star for the long-term future.

Arsenal are looking for a forward to offset the probable departures of Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette.
