LIGA - Koeman sees Araujo drop out, attacking duo almost back

Ronald Koeman will probably have to do without Ronald Araújo in the crucial weeks after the international break. The central defender of FC Barcelona has suffered a hamstring injury with the Uruguay national team. Normally he is therefore out of circulation for a few weeks.
That is bad news for Ronald Koeman, who will face crucial opponents with his team after the international break with Valencia (La Liga), Dinamo Kiev (Champions League) and Real Madrid (La Liga) to save their lives as the person ultimately responsible in the Camp Nou. Against Argentina, the central defender was replaced fifteen minutes before the end due to his injury.
It is expected that the Uruguayan will have to miss those three games in any case because of his injury. With Gerard Pique and Eric García, he still has two good right-central defenders at his disposal, while left-foot Clement Lenglet may also be able to get more playing time in the back. Furthermore, Pedri's recovery is not going as well as expected and he may still not be available next weekend.
Still, not only bad injury news came out for Koeman. For example, a return of Ousmane Dembele is getting closer, El Mundo Deportivo knows, because the winger is training again with the group at FC Barcelona. Sergio Aguero also participated in Koeman's session and the duo may be able to play against Valencia next weekend, although the Dutchman does not want to take any risks with them.
