LIGA - Koundé's first club disappointed with his aborted transfer to Chelsea
Chelsea are not the only club disappointed by the failed transfer of Jules Koundé from Sevilla FC. La Brède FC, resident of Regional 1 and first club of the French central defender (between 12 and 15 years old), did not hide his disappointment at the failure of negotiations between the Blues and the Andalusian club.
Indeed, with a transaction valued at 45 million euros, the resident of the sixth level could have pocketed a percentage (1%, or 450,000 euros) on the transfer.
In an interview with Sud Ouest, the president of the amateur club Tony Gomez regretted this inconclusive agreement: “We could have done things with these 450,000 euros. It was about two years of operation of the club ”.
This would be the second check that Koundé could have brought to his first team, after the 167,000 euros when he left Girondins de Bordeaux for Sevilla FC in the summer of 2019, according to information from L'Équipe.
