At the European agents' first meeting at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas, Jonathan Barnett, who deals with Real Madrid striker Gareth Bale, was quick to say his thoughts on the treatment of his client from Madrid supporters, who have covered him with criticism for several seasons.
“It doesn't matter, I don't care what they think. I don't care what Real Madrid fans think, why should I care? I think they were disgusted by Gareth Bale. He won it all and they were mean to him." The 71-year-old agent said, before continuing on the Welsh international's current situation.
"He loves Real Madrid and his relationship with Carlo Ancelotti is fantastic. He is fine. Unfortunately he got injured again, but he will be fine, he will play soon."
