Isaac, who was diagnosed with Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome, a rare genetic disease, at the age of four, is unable to walk. His family brought him to an Austin FC match against the Portland Timbers on Saturday to commemorate his 18th birthday.

What happened was a touching scene that went viral and speaks to the developing fan culture in Austin and the Major League Soccer in general.

Members of La Murga de Austin, the fans' section band, serenaded Isaac on his birthday outside Q2 Stadium with their musical instruments and voices.

Isaac wore his new Austin FC shirt inside and cheered on his favorite club as they celebrated a 3-1 victory.

A GoFundMe page was set up to aid Isaac and others affected by this condition, and it has earned $19,279 so far.

“In that moment, it was simply people being nice and choosing kindness, and honoring him for just being Isaac,” Isaac's mother remarked about the wonderful surprise showered on her son.
